The lobby of Noir House at midnight

Est. 2018 · Shoreditch, London

A house that keeps
late hours.

Twelve rooms, one long table, a brass bar and a roof above the city. Noir House is a members-only townhouse and stay — open by reservation, closed by candlelight.

The House

We built a house for the kind of evening that doesn't end until it has to.

Noir House began as a private supper club in a borrowed Georgian townhouse. Three years and one quiet renovation later, it's a stay, a club, a kitchen and a courtyard — held together by the same idea.

That a city is best understood from a single, well-lit room. That a great evening rarely involves a list. And that the door, once you find it, should always feel familiar.

The Experience

Four rooms.
Four reasons to stay late.

Every space in the house was designed for one specific kind of evening. Most members spend time in all four.

Brass, smoke, candlelight

The Bar

Brass, smoke, candlelight

Twenty seats, one negroni programme, and a bartender who will remember what you ordered last.

Three thousand books

The Library

Three thousand books

A working library you can borrow from. WiFi that's quiet enough to think in. A fireplace, of course.

Open at dusk

The Rooftop

Open at dusk

Low seating, a fire pit, and one of the better views of the river. Members and guests only.

Twelve seats, one menu

The Long Table

Twelve seats, one menu

Supper Thursday through Sunday. No menu published — just a number to call and a chef who likes the market.

The Community

People who stay late, return often.

We host roughly fourteen events a month. Some private, most open to staying guests, all worth changing your dinner plans for.

I came for one night. I extended twice. The bar staff knows my name and my drink.

The Rooms

Twelve rooms.

We don't have categories. We have rooms — every one designed by hand, named after a regular, and finished in materials that age well: brass, oak, linen, and the kind of paint that takes a week to dry.
